Not bad weekend for Iván Ortolá that in the first qualifying round already blocks the time trial at 1: 48.745 with a difference of only 0.521 seconds; it would have the potential to improve again, but the heat of the afternoon compromises the second qualifying round and forces Ortolá to qualify in fourth position, focusing everything on Sunday’s races.

However, the Spaniard makes a small mistake on the first lap, falling and being forced to a comeback that sees him end Race 1 in 8° position, after having scored several times the fast lap and having maintained an incredible pace, at the level of the leading group.

That group that Iván Ortolá can not give up during Race 2, where to the sound of overtaking, is able to impose itself on others, and to lead the race for a few laps, right up to when Holgado steals the leadership and forces him to take home an incredible 2nd place and a minimum difference: 0,055 seconds.

For the highest step of the podium we will think of Portimao, for now we celebrate a deserved 2° position in the championship standings.
