Jerez Test: Day 1

One piece at a time on the right path!

Jerez, 8 February: We had broken up with a Stefano Nepa who was a bit in trouble and with an impressive feeling of Iván Ortolá, but on the first day of private testing in Jerez the situation is completely reversed, let’s find out together why!

Just got off, thanks to various changes of set up and suspension, Stefano Nepa finally feels good with the bike:

“I had a great feeling right away, improving a lot from Valencia. Unfortunately, since the afternoon there was a lot of wind and it was difficult to get on track and have precise feedback, but we hope that tomorrow is better to work hard ahead of Qatar!”

For Iván Ortolá, however, today the situation has been a little more complicated: some problems with the bike, then quickly resolved by the team, and a strong wind that did not allow to improve, but the determination of the rookie wins over everything:

“Tomorrow the wind will stop and we will continue to work to take another step forward!”

The team manager, Alessandro Tonucci, is satisfied with the work done, but at the same time he remains with his feet firmly on the ground encouraging the guys to get even higher:

“I’m happier than Valencia, we made some drastic changes and it’s the right direction, as confirmed by the data and the sensations of the drivers.

Tomorrow we will start with a completely different base from Valencia and we will see how it will be.

Per i tempi dobbiamo migliorare ancora perché nelle qualifiche saranno vitali, per ora però siamo felici dei risultati ottenuti fino a qui.”

So, stay connected and don’t miss tomorrow’s updates!
