Valencia Test: Day 2

The foundation for the season is done!

Valencia, February 4, 2022: cloudy sky, danceable asphalt temperature and some obstacles to overcome are just some of the protagonists of the second day of testing in Valencia, because the real stars of the day are the MTA Racing riders, Iván Ortolá and Stefano Nepa who have as their only goal get out on the track and dance with their KTM girl without stopping, just to be prepared for the start of the season.

Iván Ortolá reconfirms the sensations he had yesterday and is projecting himself towards the tests of the next few days in Jerez with good confidence in the saddle:

“It has been a very successful two days, we have tried many things and the sensations with the bike are confident, in any case there is still room for improvement. We will still work hard to get as prepared as possible in Qatar “.

Stefano Nepa on the other hand, despite the hard work done during the day, only at the last one was he able to find a better feeling, perhaps due to the profound differences found compared to last year’s KTM:

“We did a lot of kilometers today and we worked both on the set-up and in general on the whole bike, but I still have some problems that we will solve during the next tests in Jerez. A special thanks to the whole team who are really doing an incredible job. “

While the two riders are rethinking what they could still improve, it is time for Alessandro Tonucci to take stock of the two days: even if the times were not among the fastest, the guys worked hard and the first results are starting to show:

“With Ortolá we managed to find a good feeling and the times are in line with Stefano, even though there have been some more difficulties. In Jerez we have to find a solution, especially with him, but overall it went well. “

We just have to wait for Tuesday 8 and Wednesday 9 February and see what happens!
